Meet the team
Chandler Green, MA, AMFT
Chandler is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist supervised by Rachel Jones Linn LMFT. Chandler works with individuals and couples to achieve freedom and find relief from both external pressures and internal conflicts. He believes therapy should embody the "3 Cs": compassion, curiosity, and clarity. He adopts a holistic and personalized method in therapy, focusing on creating a secure, collaborative environment where clients can safely explore their thoughts and emotions. Chandler is committed to always approaching therapy from an LGBTQ+ affirmative, compassionate, and non-judgmental place. He encourages clients to develop the highest level of compassion for themselves while navigating uncomfortable and painful feelings such as shame, confusion, guilt, anger, regret, hopelessness, and feeling “not good enough.” Curiosity is a fundamental part of his work, as he encourages clients to ask questions like, ‘Why do I feel this way?’ and ‘Why do I engage in this behavior?’ By staying curious and seeking answers, clients gain insight and clarity, while learning practical skills to enhance self-awareness and self-empowerment.
Chandler’s orientation in psychodynamic therapy enables him to explore unconscious patterns and past experiences that influence current behaviors and emotions, fostering a profound self-understanding essential for transformative change. He complements this with DBT skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, all of which are vital for managing intense emotions and nurturing healthy relationships. Chandler helps clients on their paths to self-discovery and improved well-being, addressing a myriad of issues such as anxiety, relationship issues, personality disorders, and life transitions.
Chandler aims to reduce suffering as much as possible while acknowledging that some level of suffering is inherent to life. He hopes to create a sacred and welcoming space for therapy — a warm, safe, and collaborative environment where clients can comfortably step in and out each week, with him supporting them every step of the way.
